A trip to the beach takes a dire turn for Cami and Pete, two strangers who suddenly find themselves facing a vertical wall of ocean in a dreamscape they're unable to escape. But are those lights somewhere beyond the water? Haunted by memories of recent loss, they must find their way out together by learning to face their grief.
Presented virtually during the COVID-19 lockdown, we merged animation and greenscreen footage with actors performing live in their homes across Pittsburgh. Bedrooms turned into makeshift stages with whimsical backdrops, puppets, and a few color-changing LEDs– all handled by our incredible actors.
